Important Entry Information
All attendees will receive a QR code prior to the conference for entry to the National Press Club. This QR code is required to access the 13th floor. Individual Ticket registration confirmation alone will not grant entry to the venue. Look for an email from programs@samedc.org, approximately 48 hours prior to the conference for the QR Code, and event reminder emails.
Self-Parking
Parking is available at nearby garages. Attendees are encouraged to reserve parking in advance using apps such as SpotHero for convenience and availability. To reserve your parking spot, visit The National Press Club SpotHero Parking Page.
Valet Parking
Valet parking is available at nearby hotels, including the JW Marriott (adjacent to the Press Club) and the Willard InterContinental (across the street).
By Metro
Take Metro to Metro Center (Blue, Orange, Silver lines).
Exit at 13th Street
Walk south to F Street
Turn right (west) and walk one block to 14th Street
Turn left to enter the National Press Building
Take elevators to the 13th Floor
By Car
The National Press Building is located at the corner of 14th and F Street NW, next to the JW Marriott. Attendees driving from Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC can follow standard GPS directions to this location.
Please note: the conference does NOT have a group rate nor block of rooms reserved.
There are numerous hotels within walking distance of the National Press Club, including options at a range of price points.
Attendees are encouraged to book early, as downtown Washington, DC experiences high demand during the summer months.
Government employees are encouraged to request the government rate, if available, when making reservations.
