2026 Annual Training Workshop

This year's Annual Training Workshop is a joint partnership between the APA Federal Planning Division and the SAME DC Post, to be part of the conversations shaping the future of federal planning. Government leaders, industry experts, and A/E/C professionals come together to share real insights, not just theory. The program highlights agency priorities, explores how technology and partnerships are transforming project delivery, and creates space for meaningful connection around shared challenges. It’s a chance to exchange ideas, build relationships, and walk away with practical takeaways that can be put to work right away.  

This workshop is designed for professionals engaged in federal planning, design, and delivery of the built environment, including:

• Federal agency planners, program managers, and real estate professionals

• Architects, engineers, and designers supporting federal projects

• Construction managers and project delivery professionals

• Urban planners and regional planners working in or with federal agencies

• Military and uniformed service members involved in facilities and infrastructure planning

• Industry partners supporting federal programs and missions
